Why Pay 80% More To Heat Your Geyser Compared To Someone That Already Have A Solar Geyser?

You Don't Have To - You Can Start Saving Today!

How The System Works

  • The evacuated tube collector ( nr 1in the schematic) converts solar radiation from the sun into heat & heats up the volume of water in the collector manifold on your roof.
  • As soon as the geyserwise controller (nr 2 in the schematic) detects that the water in the collector is 7 degrees hotter than the water in the geyser it switches on the circulation pump (Nr 3 in the schematic).
  • Cold water is pumped from the bottom of the geyser & pushes the hot water from the collector down into the geyser.
  • Once the temperature in collector (nr 1) starts to drop & the difference between the geyser & the collector temperature is 4 degrees the geyserwise (nr 2) will stop the circulation pump (nr 3).
  • The collector will once again heat up the water inside & once the water is 7 degrees warmer compared to the geyser the process will repeat itself.

Why Evacuated Tubes?

 Evacuated tubes contain practically no water and so they can resist freezing conditions  The curved shape of the tubes allows thermal absorption from a greater range of sun angles, and therefore for a greater portion of the day  Tubes permit high heat retention and so much of the heat collected during the day can be retained during overcast days and through the night  Tubes fit independently in the header pipe and can be individually removed and replaced without having to decommission the entire system  Tubes provide lower aerodynamic drag due to air being able to run around them, proving less wind-drag in some high wind locations  Work exceptionally well on cloudy/overcast days  The large bore header-pipe ensures reliability in hard water (high calcium hardness)
